Professor of the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), Post-doctorate in Natural Resources by the Federal University of Campina Grande (2012), PhD in Geography by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), Master in Geography by the Federal University of Pernambuco (1997), Specialist in Northeastern region in Brazil Geography by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1997), Graduated in Geography by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1986), acting in the technical courses of Environmental Control and Oil and Gas and in the degrees in Geography, in Environmental Management (technological degree) and in Sustainable Use of Natural Resources of IFRN (Master’s degree). Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Sustainable Use of Natural Resources (PPgUSRN), where he held the position of coordinator of the course from January 21, 2015 to June 12, 2017. He has experience in studies in the area of Geography, with Emphasis on Human Geography and Environmental Studies and Sciences on the Sustainable Use of Natural Resources, working mainly on the following topics: territory, territoriality, environment, environmental management, indicators of sustainability and territorial vulnerability of the semi-arid region.
